Fundraising Dinner Production for AFMDA

AFMDA’s fundraising dinner required transforming Porto Vita into a branded event environment. Setup began at 8:00 AM with strike scheduled the same night by 11:00 PM. The production included compact rigging, staging, distributed audio, LED video walls, and live broadcast support — all within tight venue access and turnaround restrictions.

Rigging & Truss: Installed 10+ truss sections with bases and corner blocks. Stabilized with sandbags and concealed with covers.

Lighting: Deployed over 30 fixtures including uplights and lekos. Controlled from a compact console at a dedicated tech table.

Audio: Distributed speaker systems with subs and wedges. Mixed through digital console and rack. Wireless mics supported panel discussions and live music.

Video & AV: Configured a 42-panel LED video wall with processors. Installed multiple 86” displays, laptops, and comms systems.

Staging & Scenic: Built a 16’ x 12’ stage finished with PVC cladding and carpeted steps. Integrated scenic branding with LED wall content.

Power Distribution: Generator and distro system routed through feeders, Socopex, and ramps to ensure stable delivery.

LED content and scenic branding aligned with AFMDA’s identity. Lighting highlighted scenic features, while truss and staging were concealed for a clean presentation.

Setup and strike completed in a single day.
