The AFMDA annual gala required full-scale technical integra7on inside Faena Forum, one of Miami’s most architecturally complex venues. Setup was limited to a single day, and strike had to be completed immediately following the event. The program scope included advanced ligh7ng, staging, projec7on, live performance support, and branded scenic integra7on, all under compressed 7melines.
• Rigging & Truss: Installed over 10 truss sec7ons with corner blocks, bases, and crank towers. Concealed structures with custom covers.
• Lighting: Deployed more than 100 fixtures including uplights, washes, beams, pin spots, and lekos. Added custom gobos for branded projec7on. All operated through centralized control.
• Audio: Configured a line-array system with subs and distributed speakers. Mixed through digital consoles. Wireless mics and in-ear monitoring supported speakers and live music.
• Video & Projection: Deployed four high-output projectors with matched lenses for video content. Integrated robo7c cameras for live capture and playback.
• Staging & Scenic: Constructed a 24’ x 16’ carpeted stage finished in vinyl, with steps for access. Suspended a laser-cut logo and installed branded vinyl panels across key entry points.
• Power Distribution: Large distro and Socopex system supported all systems. Load tested prior to rehearsal.
Scenic finishes and projection mapping reflected AFMDA’s branding. Custom logo, vinyl wall treatments, and concealed truss ensured technical systems amplified the atmosphere without distraction.
